The department is deeply saddened to share the news of Lenny Brand’s recent passing. He died on January 5, 2021, just after his 90th birthday. Dr. Brand, a pioneering scientist in the areas of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, was also a dedicated teacher and a beloved friend and colleague to so many.
