Dr. Bhabha's research focuses on studying structural mechanisms and cell biology of microbes and their interactions with hosts. The lab uses integrative approaches including X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, cryo-electron tomography, optical microscopy, biochemistry, microbiology and cell biology techniques, to uncover the unique biology of eukaryotic and prokaryotic pathogens.
